Why I write

Is it scary to put my art and story out there?

Honestly, absofuckinglutly its terrifying. I treasure my privacy deeply. Also my daily brain capacity has its limits, so I keep my inner circle small and intentional. But those who are in it receive my undivided love and devotion. My world doesn't need to be huge to be beautiful.

So why then write and have a website?

I feel this deep pull to share my creations with the world. For the sake of insights, colour and art. And glimmers. I love glimmers. Am I too old at 52 to learn, to take a leap on the internet, or even to start a blog, or start something new? Absolutely fucking not. I feel more curious and eager to learn today than I ever did in my twenties, am I scared? Hell ya! Uhm no, that’s not enterily true, but I am more conscious now.

I also don’t have all the answers on how my art will unfold in the public online world, but I trust the process. Step by step. I fully embrace who I am: I identify as a late bloomer with a rich tapestry of life experience, vivid colors in her hands, and a heart that is finally being prioritized. So there. Here it is. And you know what? I love that.
